Vancouver may have it's many drawbacks, but when you slow down long enough to smell the flowers (or grow them) you realize what a crazy, interesting, beautiful city this is, full of endless endless possibilities. At any second, if you take the time, you will see on one side of the street a woman yelling hysterically at what appears to be thin air while on the other side of the street a local takes the time to show the traveling couple from Ireland where to find the best Coffee, or see the best band, or eat the best food. This city is a melting pot of opposites, and you know what they say, opposites attract. So next time you are feeling a little out of sorts and frustrated with the people who walk like they have nowhere to rush to (meanwhile you do) down Robson street, head down to the Art gallery to see the buskers who's talent may surprise you, or have a drink on a rooftop patio while listening to the hustlers in the street. But whatever you do remember, there is no place like home!!
